Equi-Scotia CIC is a not for profit training provider based in Central Scotland set up in early 2020 to provide leadership development with horses and free therapy for young people. Lockdown prompted a pivot into online training through requests from member groups of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) planning to offer non riding services upon re-opening. Equi-Scotia CIC is an SQA approved centre, and organisation member of HETI, Horsescotland and ACCPH. Most courses are accessible from any from anywhere in the world through an online device. Practical training with horses is available at Scottish Borders RDA Group near Jedburgh and at Broadlands Equine Therapy and RDA Centre in Sussex.
